THE VILLAGE OF PERVOLIA

Welcome to Pervolia
In Pervolia, you can enjoy the warm hospitality of the local people and sample the delights of the traditional Cypriot restaurants and welcoming local tavernas. Pervolia is a quiet village for a relaxing holiday, but despite being a relatively small village, with a population of 1,600, Pervolia also has banks, tourist shops, supermarkets and a sport centre. You also have the beach less than 1km away, which does not get crowded even in the peak season. There is also another sandy beach at the nearby Cape Kiti; a 45 minutes walk from the village, or you can catch the regular bus which takes only 5-10 minutes. The beaches around Pervolia are ideal for families with young children with their gradual incline into the sea and the beautiful water. Perfect for a relaxing family holiday. Our holiday apartment is on the outskirts of the village (approx 5 minutes walk into the centre), with views over the Mediterranean Sea. Whilst relaxing on the secluded roof terrace you can also look over to the Trudos Mountains while the sun sets, enjoying a glass of wine (or two) and planning the next days activities.
LARNACA TOWN
If you are looking for that relaxing holiday but don’t want to be too far from a large town then Pervolia is ideal. Just a short car ride (approx 10-15 minutes) is the lively town of Larnaca. Firstly Larnaca is home to the brand new international airport which is spacious airy and enables a really quick transfer to Pervolia. A regular bus service runs between Pervolia and Larnaca, so if you haven’t hired a car you can still get around really easily.
Larnaca, or Larnaka, is the oldest living city in Cyprus and was originally known as Kition, or Kittium. Unlike other ancient cities of Cyprus, which were abandoned by their inhabitants, Larnaca has existed on the same site for over 6000 years.
Larnaca attracts many visitors, especially British and today approximately three million travellers and tourists enter Cyprus through Larnaca’s new Airport, Port and the Marina.
The town is large enough to have everything you may need but still is not overcrowded, especially at its beautiful beaches which extend for 16 miles. It is the third largest town in Cyprus, with a population of 60,000 and is a busy commercial centre as well as a popular holiday resort.
The archaeological sites and six museums are in the centre of Laranca within walking distance.
Summer sports, sea activities and cruises are readily available and if you like shops, you have plenty of that too. There is good medical care and the local cinemas screen the most up-to-date films from across the globe as well as a bowling alley and more. The number of restaurants, tavernas, cafeterias and bars offer great variety and The Cyprus “meze” is the specialty of Larnaca.
Night life in Larnaca is varied and security makes the streets very safe. With a great history, cultural life in Larnaca is rich and many events are organised by the town’s Municipality.

Larnaca Beach Front
Because of the mild climate in the winter and the genuine hospitality of the local people, Larnaca enjoys tourism at very high occupancy rates all the year round. Larnaca District has 9,500 hotel beds, about 10% of the total all island tourist capacity. Along the Larnaca bay there are luxurious beach hotels.
